Do you send postcards?

Few weeks ago, a friend at the office received a postcard from his relative in Italy.  I must say I was a bit envious. Hahaha... It has been years since I last received a postcard. This chivalry is closer to extinct I guess... 

And now... I am in a good mood to spill a little secret of mine: I always add brownie points to someone who still send postcards. Not e-cards, that's sweet too, but if you still send postcards from the post office when you are away (or yes, from the concierge desk) to relatives, friends, loved one(s) ...hmmm... it shows that you have that classic civilized habit. I call it like that. And that is good. I mean; real good. *wink.

I am hooked! Not only that Muratyan came out with a book , the postcard box is also available ! It may take more than just a patience to wait for them to be available in Indonesia so I am eyeballing a promo flight fare to Singapore anytime soon (or some kinda super promo/cheapest ever-if that's even possible?) 

Or if anyone is flying there within this month... please?

Penguin book postcards

How great are these Penguin Book postcards? I stumble upon them just now and I've been thinking about them with such witty and old soul feeling. Whatever that means *cringe. 

I'd love to frame a few of them on my wall, in the corner of my little library at home. Or have them around to send a friend (really distinguished well selected friends) a note on a postcard of his/ her favorite book. Aaaaaahhhh.... sweetness...
