Remember the classic "It's not you, It's me" ? . You may think I am being crazy but I know that there are some truth to the phrase. Seriously.
When I did say that to this relationship that I ended a few months ago, I was being bluntly honest. I was the one who did not get it, I did not commit, I failed to understand it, to tolerate, to soak into it. I did not adhere to even the smallest thing that the other end was asking me. Even the most simple one.
There is nothing wrong with you, Yoga class... there never was. Nothing at all.
It's not you, it's me.
I do not get you.
It's not you, it's me.
I do not get you.
ps: the perfect illustration that says why, by Gemma Correll.
