Awesome Monday: Awesome Physicist Hanging Out Together;

Good Monday! Welcome to the latest post on Awesome People Hanging Out Together, a post series inspired by one awesome tumblr page . Now, judging by the people we have in below image, I think it is a good idea to re title the post as "Awesome Physicists hanging out together":) Notice that Marie Curie is the only lady in the flock? Hats off!

I miss you all!

From all of five children my parents have; I am the only one who is always living away from home. I have this constant need of being alone once in a while. No details necessary here, but point is; I am used to that and they are too. But, we have a very intimate relationship - no matter what, no matter the distance, no matter the trials. I realize this evenmore when my Grandma pointed this out, saying how proud she is with us five! So yes, as much as I enjoy being away and alone, there is always... always a moment where I cannot stop thinking about them. Like today.

From Saying Images

Money, Money, Money

Now let us talk about money! No, I am no banker- or anyone you can look up to for a financial solution. I am a rookie here and love to share things I believe can do us good. Aside from the household and financial responsibility, I splurge a lot on books, clothes and food. I enjoy life to the fullest, but I know when to hit the brake- that is way before you are out of gasoline. Here's a thing or two I think most of us can practice;  The rule of thumb from certified financial planner Nancy Langdon Jones is to keep enough in savings to weather six months. If that is not possible for you (and I .. ahem), instead, as advised-  keep a SWAN account—sleep well at night. Sounds nice, doesn’t it? Even if you have high credit card bills ( proudly not talking to myself here), you need an emergency account. Another lesson I read before; The very wealthy live below their means. Don’t spend everything. Don’t mortgage yourself up to the eyeballs. Find an apartment that meets your needs while also keeping you comfortable. Firstapartmentguide.com suggests that no more than 30% of your gross income should go towards rent and utilities. If you need to, share an apartment. Keep a cushion in case you lose some income *knock on wood.

Have you ever?

Bold the happy things that you’ve experienced before:) (I read this from a very interesting tumblr and cannot help but to do so as instructed) Let's see!

Confession; I am a sucker for Reader's Digest Laughs!. They are just hilarious and amusing . I am posting one of my favorite here below. Despite the bitter truth of global warming, the cartoonist sketched this one in a very funny way ... *cringed!
