About the Archives

Just an update.
Some of you may notice and wonder, why is that all of a sudden the year of 2005-2010 magically appears in my archives. As explained in my short description about  the blog- this blog actually is my second one. I lost access to the previously named-Belle's Chronicle. Since I still have the file on most of the writings, I decided to re post them to this new blog- and just got a chance to revert back on the original "published" dates and edited them accordingly. Trust me, it is not that easy, since some of the writings are even on a scratch paper! Thanks to facebook notes- I keep some of my poems and short stories there too :).

That's all for now. xxoo - Archives updating in progress

Surprise your dad at the office

Trust me, whatever I'm doing is not as important as you.

From this page

Dear Son,

Ok, let me tell you a not so much of a secret: I want to be a mother someday. To add, I want my first to be a boy. Reason? Do I really need one? These are things we want out of love, I believe. And I don't always have to be reasonable. If my first turn out to be a girl, I know I am going to shower her with my crazy love too :)
So, when I found out about this book (doing the usual- book browsing), I cannot stop thinking about it. The book is originally sourced from this adorable blog 1001 Rules for My Unborn Son by Walker Lamond, where he reveals everyday maxims about how to be a great man, like : Never turn down an invitation to speak in public, Have a signature look, Thank the bus driver, Surprise your dad at the office... and many more!
Sounds and looks more like a book that a Father give to their son, but it's not going to hurt for a mother (and or a mother to be) to take a glimpse or two:)
ps: No, there is no bun here in the oven just yet (wink)

Text Can Wait-your safety cannot

Call me lame, fussy, stiff or whatever word that you find suits an irritating person on the passenger's seat like me. Yes, I will remind you to put on your seat belt, make sure you lock the doors and get you to check if we have enough fuel before going on the road.
And, please stop looking at your mobile phone, and texting while driving- or even when we are at the traffic light. We are only a few minutes away from our destination, and even though we are not, I am pretty sure the text was not about a life and death situation depending on your hand. It can only be about it if you keep doing that... texting and driving.

Being aware of your own and other people's safety should start now and it also means that you should not wait until an accident happen. And, not when I am in the passenger's seat. Thank you very much.
ps: When I stumble upon this amazing campaign,  I know I have to do my part to send the message out.

Look at those clouds!

This is one of my favorite line! Hahaha.. And, residing in Bali give me a lot of chance to say this. Like a lot. Especially during this season- and is expected to stay this beautiful, breezy- with a clear blue sky- up to October. I can stare up in adoration to the sky  for a long time, just to watch all the white clouds moving, kites crossing and smaller flying object-birds.
When I found this quote, I break into a beaming smile and reminded of many-many names in my life that I can relate to. I have so many special people in life that -I hope- when they hear me calling out for them, this is what they actually hear : A sound of excitement- like you are one work of nature's art, like I haven't seen you for decades. Because yes, that is exactly how I am feeling whenever I call your name out.

this means you, you and oh... look at you!
