Just sharing one picture of two of my favorite musicians. I have been listening to Bob Dylan's "To Make You Feel My Love" over and over again during the weekend so this picture is to end the overplayed song in my iTunes and to kick off a good week ahead.

Oh, as I type, Springsteen's "Streets of Philadelphia"is playing.

Some say I can be too much of an old soul... Hmmm. I wonder why that is?

Awesome Monday: Awesome Kindness

You know how much I hate watching news on TV since the only thing that exist is nothing but a bitter truth about how devilish people can be. I have been teased for countless of time for this denial habit of mine. Remember this photography book  I regret buying?

But when I found this page, somehow... a restoration is made. Maybe this will not guarantee a magical change to happen anytime soon in the world, but it does to me.

Maybe... This so called life is not that bad after all...

Good morning! 

This Monday's Awesome People post is not taken from the uber cool tumblr like usual... But instead, from my own image library.
This is to bid a farewell that we have renamed to a 'Till We meet Again', to Silvia (the beautiful girl in white shirt) and Nicolas-her husband. Our dearest friends who have taken another opportunity in Kota Kinabalu. 

The ladies in the picture are my besties... Awesome ladies!

This is not our first picture together and I can assure you this is also not the last. Will  capture some more moments again... maybe not soon... But we will!

ps: My friend Anom posted a comment, reminding me that 15th April is actually the anniversary of Charlie Chaplin. What a coincidence! It has been a year since I first mention about Charlie on his 122th Anniversary .

Sorry I did not post it this morning. We still have a few hours before Monday ends,  so this is where I am going to say the old "better late than never" cliche :) .

So today's awesome Monday is a little different. I have my reasons I tend to treasure for my self. But I must tell you that seeing this image reminds me of a picture hanging in my bedroom wall when I was a kid. Seeing this make me realize that all I ever wanted is to still be His child and cling into His hands at all times. I know His awesome love will let me do so. Have a great Monday sweethearts!

On Wednesday, 6th February, 1952 : King George V1 dies making Elizabeth II the Sovereign of Great Britain, The Queen of England. The then future queen heard the news while on a trip to Kenya .

Aaaah.... what a scene... awesome and beautiful people hanging and talking about awesome shoes... :) Happy Monday loved ones. If this is the first time you are reading my Awesome Monday , I am happy to let you know that the source is here , and the idea of Awesome Monday is to make Monday less stressful and heavy. Hope it works! 

More than Autism

Ever been in a group of people (or in an environment of cliques) who casually throw jokes on autism? For example, when someone on the table is too busy with his or her gadget and the other person will just lightly shout " Hey, do not be autistic! drop your gadget". And they just laugh... STUPID. I say this again with all my heart... That is just STUPID.

So I was the first one in my group of friends who took the liberty of saying there is no way I will tolerate that kind of joke. Try read about autism (yes, I can give you some references), or be friends with someone who is having a family member with autism. If you can still use that joke, you might as well just plainly... moronic or simply a mean ignorance.
I have no one close to me dealing with this battle. But I do not need to wait or to encounter with one first to be able to show a sincere empathy. I may not as grand as other people who can do bigger things like working as a volunteer in a special need school (thumbs up), but I at least know that I can chose my jokes and humors. And autism is not one of it. Not even close.
