Four years ago, my husband and I gifted "Goodnight Moon" to our Godson Sachie.
It instantly became his favourite for years.
Today, amidst all the bad news happening in the world, I stumbled upon a sweet fun fact about the book that has been lullabying children (and adults like me) to sleep for almost 80 years now:
"The characters in Goodnight Moon are rabbits because Margaret Wise Brown worked with the same illustrator she had worked with on Runaway Bunny, and he could only draw rabbits."- Becca Bailey
How cute is that?
Said Godson who is about to turn five soon!
