If you were not afraid
If fear is nowhere to be found in my bone... This is what I am going to do: Just quit and actually write that book I have been rambling about the past 3 years.
Everybody knows how much I love my job and how proud I am of the company. But this calling is getting louder, and to fulfill that; I have to be fearless. This of course revolves around financial stability. How would I pay my house? Will the calling be as fulfilling, at one point, financial wise? Am I going to let go easily; all the perks that I am now enjoying?
Is status really does not matter to me? What about my health plan?
See?!
This can only happen if I am THAT brave... gutsy, lionhearted, and filled with flaming courage.
And, in love life? Oh gawd. This is even harder.
I will fall hopelessly in love. And be vulnerable. :)
What about you?

One More Thing
Oh look...look what I got!
A sweet friend I recently met in Singapore gave me the sweetest surprise ever! I have been looking for this book in Jakarta and Singapore and they are all out of stock! And buying online from where I am now living only mean I will have to pay the shipping fee more than the price of the book itself. Pain.
"One More Thing" is an essay and shorts collection by one hilarious-genius-witty-hawt-comedian B.J Novak. You might recognize him from 'The Office'.
Reviews gone viral on this work of his and since I am not a big fan of love story and or obnoxious fiction the past 5 years (another sign of aging, I guess), I am treasuring this a lot. Guess you know where my nose will stuck the next days.
ps: He looks adorable with beard!

Proverbs 13:20
How truthful this verse is: "He who walks with a wise grows wise, but a companion of a fool suffers harm.". Proverbs 13:20.
It kinda remind us of the good old saying "Show me your friends, and I will tell you who you are."
Yes?
Yes?
How have you been with the relationship(s) you are in? Love life, marriage, friendship, families, parenthood, siblings, or even work? Do you eliminate the one(s) that are no longer fruitful for you? Or you let them hang around in the corner no matter how poisonous and rotten they can be? Do you tell the truth when you have to end it? Or, do you sometimes create"make believe" excuses and phrases?
How far can you fight? How should you know when to give up? Which one can get a second chance and which deserves a full-stop?
Big quest:
Would you rather be alone with yourself, or you need to have anyone at all even if that someone will not grow and nourish with you; mind, soul and everything that comes with it? Do you compromise with someone that will not challenge you and comfort you at the same time? Say you are doing it just because it is safe thing to do, but at some point, you know you will be walking away... So?

My soul-sister (Yes, you Nickie!) once told me that I have a fertile mind. That is one compliment I would never trade with any pick-up line in a bar! Haha...
But it is this fertile wanderings that keep me up and I will spend countless hours thinking about it.

Can any of you share me an insight or two?

Good morning.
Here’s to an old soul of mine.
Been missing my Dad (happens more often if there are many changes happening in my life as it is now!)and this song reminds me of how much a beautiful
dancer he was….*smileyface (and just a little bit of tears)
ps: Happy weekend. Mine will be... filled with work and some projects but something good is waiting at the end of the tunnel.... And am looking forward to it.

I have been thinking about "Alex" these days
She is a woman with one five-year-old son named Mahesa.
Alex works for
this foundation that supports women all over the world and is volunteering at
one animal shelter. She is care-free and bold and never afraid to fall in love.
There are two Orangutans in Borneo adopted under
her name.
She makes good grilled cheese and love
drinking Chardonnay. In her free-time, she plays ukulele and watch theatrical production every other
week. Her perfume is vanilla scent, produced by this small home industry around her residential.
She knits and cooks and a real good tennis player.
Alex is my alter ego.
Ps: I think an alter ego or a pseudo character is just part of you that is wanting to go out. Funniest part about it that it can also be ANYTHING that you are not.
In my case, the contrarily are; I like Cab Sav and I am one religious Chanel user when it comes to perfume. I failed my tennis and all music lessons when I was 10 years old and never really care about it as long as I still have my good taste in chords. I am big-time wimp when it comes to falling in love.
The rest about Alex are my hidden self.
Ps. ps: Do you have one?

Young Old Man
Was procrastinating my way to finishing one post and I stumble upon this picture. I paused, stare and now just stoked.
Can you see how much of a "young man's" eyes this old man has?. They are even downright "child-like"!
Then I read this description at the bottom.
Well. said.
"The wrinkles on his face only made him look like an old man. In his eyes though, you could tell there was something there. A young essence screaming to get out. And it did. When he talked, it was not the wise words of an old man that spoke, but the curious tone of a boy just learning of the world." Emma Lu
ps: How long will you stay curious?

International Women's Day
Oh how I have been saying this phrase in countless of times: I love being a woman! And I really do. I enjoy the confusions, the struggle to understand men and the long winding road to simplify things, the so-called menstrual crams, the power to be independent yet at the same time having the freedom to cling to someone when you feel like you need to, the freedom to choose (or not), the make-ups, shoes, hand bags,... oh hand bags !
But of course most of all... I love what many legendary women before me has brought into this world. I was raised in a society that "already" allows women to be as equal, to be able to speak up and to decide. I love how choices for us are now so many and it does not make us respect men any less (I respect and adore you as always, Adams!).
So to honor to the day of feminism, here are some ways to celebrate:
And the most important thing: Be even more thankful, respect your man, love your family... and be the woman you intended to be:)
One gift for you: Re-posting one cute poetry from "One Angry Girl"

- Order three desserts. And actually finish them.
- No make-up... or Doll up!
- Have a lot of sex with your lover. You lead.
- Share this post of beautiful... I repeat.. beautiful photos about how we should look at Women today.
- Buy that bag.
- Support a child.

I am not a feminist, But...
I am not a feminist, but I appreciate the right to help choose my government representatives.
I enjoy the option of wearing pants or shorts if I want.
I’m pleased that I was allowed to learn to read and write. It can be very convenient to control how many babies I want to have.
It’s awfully useful to be able to open a bank account and own property in my name.
I like knowing that my husband or boyfriend cannot legally beat me.
It’s really swell to keep the money that I earn.

Inspiration Sunday
It has been a while indeed that I have not posting for my Inspiration Sunday feature!
Well not much to say here, as I am running out of almost everything in the house (no coffee, no long phrases), I am just sharing one beautiful quote to my ladies out there. A conversation with a friend a few days ago reminded me how amazing God is and how hopeless I know I will be if I keep convincing myself I can do things on my own.
Happy Sunday and God bless you all.
