Best Short- Viewers Choice

"In every victory, let it be said on me. That my source of strength, my source of hope, is in Christ alone."

Some details and photos coming soon, but this one is to show you how grateful I am (and the team) for  this award. Not bad for a rookie script writer, yes?
The team who have worked hard for this movie are the best treasures I found this year!

ps: For those who have not seen the movie, I need to share that at the moment we have taken the videos from the internet for further promotion and possibilities of submitting it for other competitions.

Aku Memanggilmu Ibu

A few months ago, aiming to join a short film competition, I sent my movie script to one production house in Bali. At first, I was only expecting to get a half sponsorship in producing the movie. Fortunately, the company agreed to do a full one.
To share more, the movie script was an adaptation of my two short stories combined: Aku Memanggilmu Ibu and Mencari Bapak.

Sleepless nights and double hours, and 24*3 hrs of shooting time then become my additional routines for one month long. Not to mention the post production work. I cannot tell you how much I have learned from the experience. Film makers are exceptionally talented!

After waiting for a month after submitting the movie, I finally received the letter. "Aku Memanggilmu Ibu" (I Call You Mother) is shortlisted as Top 10 Finalists!

Three's a Charm: Three Current Obessions

Moving a few steps away from heavy topics, I want to ask: What are your current obsessions? Other than trying to keep my frizzy hair in sane shape, my current obsessions are as follows...

Yes, you've guessed it. "The Jungle Book" got me. I fell asleep watching "The Notebook" and I did not shed a tear over "PS. I love You". But I sobbed like a hungry baby during the scene of when Mowgli leaves the pack.
Kudos, Jon!

Obviously, my recent trip to Tanjung Puting has elevated my adoration over Dr. Birute Galdikas. And guess what is coming for me soon? My boyfriend has ordered the first copy of Reflections of Eden for me. Signed by the Dr. herself!

I am probably the last person who purchased them, I know! But it was so hard to find the right size for me. It took me almost a year! So at the moment, I am looking forward to wear them in as many events possible.
Here are some of styling tips I'd like to try: Stan Smith Styling Ideas.

Tell me yours, lovelies!

Tennis Club after this?

May is Gray

This is a coincidence that I am not happy about.
As we are entering the month of May, our family received a horrifying news. My uncle is diagnosed with late stage brain cancer. He is a Junior high teacher, who spends his weekends leading the church's vocal group.

May is "Brain Cancer Awareness Month."
May is Gray.
May... suddenly becomes this sickening month that feels so relevant and so close with us.
May... becomes so real. May is now numbered for our family.

I cannot dispense any details on this subject just yet.
But if you are reading this... May I ask a simple prayer from you, please?
Just for my uncle. So that he will stand by God's grace with his wife and children to get through this.

That's all for now.
