Astrid Lindgren

Have you read any of Astrid Lindgren 's book ?
Back in my so called childhood life, I adored her works. In fact, I still have some copies which I managed to save from my (not so into treasuring books) Mom.

Well, this is just to share that these are the top 3 books that -if you ask me- I can re-tell the whole story to anybody, perfectly fine. Trust me :)

PS: Isn't obvious that I love my childhood?

I remember wanting to have freckles all  over the face just like hers. I actually tried a non matching socks, and did my hair like Pippi.  I just didn't have the heart to pet a horse. However, I did make friends with a siblings from Germany. Our neighbor; Verina and Doddy. I secretly thought of them as Thomas and Anika.

He's just hilarious! I used to dream about having a big brother like him, the one who will take me out for a picnic, carved a funny statue out of a wood, help the unfortunate elderly, make fun of the unpleasant maid. My Grandparent's maid was a divine lady, so I didn't do that to her.The "closest" Emil's experience I had was eating a large bowl of meatball spaghetti, and the experience of reading newspaper for my great Great Grandmother.

Oooh the thought of living in the lush jungle with your  parents, do a stroke on a crazy stream river, camp out in a cave, being friends with animals and crazy Robers, dining on a table made out of gigantic stone... Tell me, how can you not want that?
